1.1 At the time of handover, I will confirm receipt of the vehicle by signing a physical checklist or digitally via the Vehicle Delivery App. This checklist will verify key details such as make, model, and registration number. The rental period begins immediately upon handover, as per the terms and conditions.
1.2 The guest and Skyline representative must mutually agree upon the checklist (Annex 1) before the ride begins. This includes verification of the driver’s license and age, photos of all sides of the vehicle (including the number plate), and interior images such as the speedometer, taken by the Skyline representative.
1.3 Vehicles may not be decorated or modified in any way. Violations will result in a penalty of up to ₹10,000.
2.1 At the end of the rental or extension period, I will ensure that all personal belongings are removed. Skyline will not be held liable for any items left behind.
3.1 The vehicle will be provided with a fuel level indicated on the gauge. I must return it with the same level. Any shortfall will be charged and either deducted from the Security Deposit or paid via a provided link.
4.1 Skyline reserves the right to reject any booking without providing a reason. In such cases, any Security Deposit and Subscription Fees paid in advance will be refunded within 5–7 business days.
5.1 To extend the rental period, I must inform Skyline at least 4 hours before the scheduled return. Skyline will confirm availability, and if approved, I will pay the applicable charges through the app, website, or payment link.
6.1 I agree to the following usage terms
6.1.1 Comply with the Indian Motor Vehicle Act, 1988, and amendments.
6.1.2 Adhere to Skyline’s Vehicle Use Terms throughout the rental period.
6.1.3 Use the vehicle only for its intended purpose.
6.1.4 Operate the vehicle per manufacturer guidelines and legal requirements.
6.1.5 No unauthorized repairs or modifications.
6.1.6 Hold a valid driving license and only allow licensed drivers to operate the vehicle.
6.1.7 Notify Skyline and provide the license if another driver is to use the vehicle.
6.1.8 No tampering with the odometer or vehicle accessories; replacement costs apply.
6.1.9 Obtain written consent before taking the vehicle outside India.
6.1.10 Do not exceed the vehicle's passenger capacity.
6.1.11 Do not use for commercial passenger or goods transport.
6.1.12 No animals allowed; violations incur cleaning/damage charges.
6.1.13 Do not use for racing, motorsports, or speed testing.
6.1.14 No towing or moving other vehicles.
6.1.15 Adhere to Skyline and legal speed limits.
6.1.16 No driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing conditions.
6.1.17 Avoid actions that could void the vehicle’s insurance.
6.1.18 No modifications without written approval.
6.1.19 Follow the vehicle owner’s manual, if available.
6.1.20 Immediately report issues to Skyline support and follow instructions.
6.1.21 Pay all tolls, parking, and road/interstate permit fees. Reimburse Skyline for any FASTag charges plus applicable GST.
6.1.22 Do not abandon the vehicle during breakdowns; wait for Roadside Assistance or a replacement.
6.1.23 Skyline may monitor or restrict vehicle movement in case of policy violations.
7.1 If the vehicle is damaged during rental, I authorize Skyline to deduct repair charges from the Security Deposit per this agreement.
7.2 The Security Deposit will be refunded within 5–7 business days after rental completion, minus any applicable charges.
8.1 I will return the vehicle in its original, well-maintained condition. Any excessive damage, wear, or unclean state may incur additional charges, including cleaning fees as outlined in the Fee Schedule.
8.2 Failure to return the vehicle at the end of the rental or extension period will be considered theft or loss. Skyline may initiate legal action and repossess the vehicle without notice. This agreement authorizes Skyline to reclaim the vehicle without further consent.
9.1 I will maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness and report maintenance needs promptly. Urgent repairs outside the delivery location must be carried out at authorized workshops. I must provide original invoices within 5 business days for reimbursement.
9.2 Routine servicing includes pick-up and drop-off at the original delivery location. I will notify Skyline support at least 2 hours in advance for any location change.
9.3 I am liable for damages caused by deliberate, reckless, or negligent actions. Repairs must be done at authorized manufacturer workshops.
10.1 I am solely responsible for any accident involving third-party injury, death, or property damage. If the vehicle is seized or impounded, I will bear all associated costs..
10.2 I will indemnify Skyline and its representatives against any loss, damage, or expenses resulting from such accidents.
11.1 I will pay charges per the Fee Schedule for minor damages under ₹10,000. For damages exceeding ₹10,000 or in total loss cases, I will pay the difference between the vehicle’s book value and insurance settlement..
12.1 If an insurance claim is denied, I am responsible for all related repair expenses as determined by Skyline.
12.2 I will indemnify Skyline for any losses due to denied claims caused by:: (a) The driver lacking a valid license at the time of the accident; (b) The driver being underage at the time of the accident; (c) The driver being under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other prohibited substance at the time of the accident; (d) Vehicle damage, theft, or loss; (e) The claim being ineligible under the terms and conditions of the insurance policy.
